Week Seven

As Halloween quickly approaches what better way to spend a Cub evening than to carve pumpkins.  What better way to get rid of pumpkin seeds...roast 'em and eat 'em.  It was a mess although a good mess.  Great fun was had by all.
Next weeks meeting is on Tuesday night, October 29th at Resker Hall for a Halloween party.  

Camp out - October 19-20, 2013

Remember this week we are at Resker Hall to carve pumpkins, bring your patterns, knife, and scooper.  If you are available to come early to help pack up our tents from last weekend it would be appreciated.

Week Six - October 16, 2013

It was a beautiful night. First up after opening ceremonies was the first game of capture the flag. Perfect I thought, I would get some great photos of the cubs searching for the other teams flag, if only I had of put the battery in the camera.,.
After two games of capture the flag and planning for this weekends camping trip it was learning to use a pocket knife. Potatoes were sacrificed for the first night of practice. Proud to say that no finger tips were found during clean up and all cubs listened carefully to instructions.
Remember: Saturday drop off at Camp Stone is 11am with pickup at Camp Stone on Sunday at 11am.  It should be a great weekend!

Week Four - October 02, 2013

There are no photos this week as we were at the Kimberley Aquatic Centre for a wee splash. All had fun although there were a few clingons that make the lazy river a bit of a challenge!
