Week Twenty One

There are some great photographers in this cub group.  There were way too many photographs taken but a few samples can be viewed on the photography night page above.  This group has a lot of very creative photographers!

Week Twenty

A beautiful warm night, clear skies, and fresh snow.  Let's go to Camp Stone!  With sleds in hand we went down the road to Camp Stone and did some serious sledding.  Following that and exercise in making a fire in the wilderness.  With only a small selection of materials the cubs in pairs had to discuss and build a fire.  They only had two matches to make it all happen and there were all different designs and all ended up with fires.  It was very cool!

Week Nineteen - sort of

We didn't meet last week due to people being away and that nasty flu that has been flying around.  But this week at Resker Hall (due to it being so cold out) was an entertaining and information evening.

Next week: Camp Stone!  Dress warm, bring sleds, bring flashlights.
