Week Fourteen

Sorry there is nothing from last week as William and Jackson were not feel well and we did not go.
This week was science week and it was a blast.  Literally!  We started out by making silly putty. Then invisible writing (which didn't work too well but was fun), snowflakes, magic mud, and finally rockets outside.  A ton o' fun was had.

Week Twelve

A stupendous craft night where creativity was flowing.  All the items created were as different and unique as the cubs are.  It was a joy to watch the creative process.
Next week we are at Camp Stone.  Remember dress warm, flash lights/head lamps, sleds are optional.

Week Eleven

A trip to the fire hall to discover all that firemen do.  We all got to handle some of the tools that firemen use.  It was a very exciting visit!

Week Ten

This was a week at Camp Stone.  Meeting at 6 pm it is already almost dark. So head lights on for the walk down, followed by a game of....flashlight tag (what else?).  Then a game of dark tag. Then into the cabin and into sixes for a safety challenge between the Rattlesnakes and the Great Horned Owls.  It was neck and neck with a few points taken away for not listening when the leaders were talking but the Rattlesnakes eeked out a slight win but all team members received prizes.
We ended the evening by marching all the way back up the hill to be picked up by parents.
Next week is suppose to be a tour of city hall, the fire hall and SAR.  I am sure details will be sent out in an email closer to next Wednesday.
