Week Six

A wet night and a somewhat cold night but with a bunch of cubs in a cabin with a fire going it's all gotta be good.
Next week we are at Resker Hall for the famous pumpkin carving evening.  Bring your designs, bring your special tools, and especially bring appropriate cloths for a fun, but probably, messy evening.

Week Five

Sorry no photos from tonight as it was wet and rainy.  We did meet at Camp Stone and played a few games.  Planning for this weekends camping trip did take place with voting for meals and discussing what to pack.  Everyone seems real excited about this weekend and I am sure it will be fun no matter what the weather is like.

Remember meet at Camp Stone at 11 am this Saturday, October 18th with pickup at 11 am Sunday, October 19th.

Week Four

A somewhat "relaxing" night at Resker Hall.  playing a few games, watching "the Jungle Book", eating popcorn.
The reason it was a more relaxed night than normal is that it was Akela's birthday.

Week Three

A great hike followed by some games.  Popcorn forms were handed out tonight and remember to bring completed forms to the Oct 22nd meeting!

Week Two

Well actually week three but last week was a registration night and not an official meeting so let's just stick with it being week 2.
A great turnout!!! A bunch of games and the cubs setting out the rules for the meetings and some excellent suggestions.  A list of activities and adventures for the first half of the year.
Starting to learn about using a compass.  All in all an excellent night.

Week One

Another cub year is upon us.  Although it was not a hot evening by any stretch it was a very productive evening tossing around ideas for the coming year and it sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun!!

Next week, September 17th is not a regular meeting but a registration night.  Bring your friends to learn about cubs, scouts, and beavers!
